Certification
Building Trust for Regeneration

Step-by-step support – with recognition for every stage.
We are developing a multi-step regenerative certification system together with Bioland and ABCert, Germany’s largest organic certifier. It will offer farmers a clear path to implement regenerative methods on their land – and be recognized for their work along the way. The system will be directly connected to our training and refinancing initiatives, helping to ensure it’s not just a label, but part of a real transformation process.
For farmers, it offers practical steps, guidance, support, clarity, and access to new income streams.
For enterprises using our refinancing platform, consumers and supply chains, it offers trust.

How it will work

Level 1:
It starts with learning
Before certification begins, farmers complete a 2-day basic training and carry out an initial soil analysis – supported by expert advice.

Level 2:
It’s practical and tailored
The certification is made up of several steps – so farmers can move forward at their own pace, depending on their context. Modules build on each other and support implementation in practice.

Level 3:
It’s driven by measurable impact
Each level includes measurable steps – from improving soil quality and biodiversity to reducing inputs. The system is also linked to refinancing mechanisms.

Level 4:
It’s developed with farmers
The system is continuously tested and improved in collaboration with farmers – so it remains realistic and truly supports those who apply it.

Not just a label – a path forward.
Regenerative farming takes time. This system is designed to recognise progress – not perfection.
For farmers, it provides structure, support and potential for additional income.
For buyers and consumers, it creates transparency, trust and a shared understanding of what regenerative really means.
And for the transition to succeed, we need both.

“Certification is the foundation for the transformation toward regenerative practices.”

Coming later this year
The certification model is currently in development and being tested with partner farms throughout 2025.
We aim to launch the first pilot certification cycle early 2026, starting in the Bodensee region. If you are interested in updates or partnership opportunities, please get in touch: info@regenerateforum.org
